Item Description
Vintage 1940 horse plates. Handpainted, made in Japan. Purchased in Galveston, Texas in 1940 and given to a 6 year old boy from Gause, that the nuns were taking care of, while he received treatment for drinking Lye at Galveston hospital. Family related. The Internet says these plates are from the 50s to the 60s, but this is from 1940s era as that is when he turned six.
